The Daughters of the King established a Junior Daughters chapter in the spring of 2006. As part of the Order, Junior Daughters of the King take vows of daily prayer and service through which they have a special opportunity to grow in Christian faith and commitment. 

Every girl and young woman thinking about becoming a DOK must complete a preparation period. During this time we will develop our personal relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in our love and commitment to God and His church. We will also learn about the Order and the Rule of Prayer and Service and begin practicing them in our own lives. During this time of preparation, you can prayerfully decide if you want to commit yourself to daily prayer and service "For His Sake."

Membership in Junior Daughters is extended to all baptized girls, not just those who are members of the Episcopal Church, between the ages of eight and twenty. Each Junior Daughter will be asked to commit to daily prayer and service, as well as monthly Chapter meetings and small group Bible studies.
