St. Paul's Food Pantry provides food to families and individuals in our
community that are in need and have no other means to purchase food. The
Food Pantry opened its doors at 365 Peyton Rd (Outreach House) on November
19, 2008. With the help of the St. Paul's congregation and
other community sponsors, we have provided food for over 1,765 families
since we opened! St. Paul's Church is a Food Bank Partner Agency, which
allows us to purchase food from the Atlanta Community Food Bank for 16¢ a
pound. We purchase approximately 3000 pounds of food each month and provide
food for approximately 130-150 families each week. We also give out free
clothing on Wednesdays when families come for food!
*Hours of Operation:* Every Wednesday & Saturday from 10am-2pm
*Volunteer Opportunities:* 2 hours per month on *every* Wednesday or *every
4th Saturday* at 365 Peyton Rd (Outreach House). Each shift is from 10-12pm or 12-2pm. You will be helping to improve lives by distributing food to the
St. Paul's Community and restocking the shelves with new donations.
*How to donate:* We continue to ask parishioners to help stamp out hunger
in our neighborhood by donating goods, non-perishable foods, and monetary
donations. Please place all of your non-perishable food items in the box,
marked "Food Pantry". The box is located just outside of the sanctuary.
