Angel Food Ministries is a national organization that works through
churches and community organizations to provide grocery relief for people.
For $25 a month, they provide enough fresh and frozen food to feed a senior citizen
for almost a month or a family of four for about a week. St. Paul’s is only one
church of hundreds that participates in the program. We provide grocery relief for
56 families each month and hope to increase that number. Much of this food is provided
at no cost to the individuals and families because they are not able to afford the
$25.
One Saturday a month, we meet at 7:30am to participate in the Angel Food Network.
We are always in need of people to:
Unload the food from the delivery truck (7:30am)
Sort the food into individual boxes for each family (8 – 10am)
Load the heavy boxes into cars (9:30 – 11am)
Deliver the food for families that cannot get to St. Paul’s (10am – 12pm)
Please check the calendar or just ask us when Angel Food Network is in need of helpers.
